Bareboat Charter-In
Bareboat charter registration allows a vessel to be registered with the registry under the name of the bareboat Charterer. This however requires the consent of the underlying registry and the registration is valid for as long as the period of the bareboat charter agreement. Underlying registry means the Flag State in which the actual owners of the vessel are registered as Owners and to which jurisdiction and control of the vessel will revert upon termination of the Bareboat Charter Registration.
